How long does microblading last?

Microblading requires two sessions, the initial session and the 6 week touch up. With both sessions, Microblading can lasts up to 18 months.

How long does the procedure take?

Permanent makeup procedures can take anywhere between 2 and 3 hours.

Who is not a good candidate for microblading?

- Are pregnant or breastfeeding

 

- Have issues with wound healing

 

- Are on Accutane currently or within 6 months-1 year

- Have an altered skin condition that will not heal well after the procedure.

 

- Are actively on chemotherapy.

 

- Are Diabetic (unless well managed and doctor provides written release)

 

- Are prone to keloid scarring

 

- Are currently on pain medication or antibiotic use

 

- Under 18 years of age

Does it hurt?

There is minimal pain involved in the microblading process. There is a numbing procedure that is done before the microblading that takes about 15 minutes. Most clients are comfortable enough to fall asleep

What is the healing process?

Eyebrows will also go through a 14 day healing process similar to a normal tattoo. During this process eyebrows will darken, scab, reach a translucent phase, and lastly reveal the final eyebrow transformation. In order to take care of and maintain brows during the healing process you should wash once a day with a gentle cleanser and moisten with aquaphor.

What is the best service for oily skin?

Any procedure with machine work is best for those with oily skin as the machine goes a layer deeper than the microblade. (Ex. powder brows, combo brows)
